Prepare for your visit

How to get your report and Common questions

How we work

1) Complete the patient information form and have the owner complete the release for ultrasound, diagnostic procedures and sedation form. Review the above "prepare for your visit" checklist.

2) Patient Drop-Off:  Patients should be fasted for 12 hours prior to their ultrasound. Please have the owner drop their pet off in the morning between 8–9 am or at the time your hospital typically has surgery drop-offs. The patient can go home after the ultrasound is completed. Sedation, if needed, is typically light and generally does not prolong pick up time.

3) Images, along with pertinent case information and bloodwork findings, will be sent the same day to Sonopath for interpretation.

4) Reports include a specialist's interpretation, images of the pathology found, and recommendations for next steps.

 - Routine reports are available next day.

- STAT report turnaround in less than 6 hours.
